What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARK STREET AND RECTORY LANE, MARKET BOSWORTH)
(BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY & BOSWORTH) (REVOCATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
To revoke The County of Leicester (Park Street and Rectory Lane, Market Bosworth) (One Way) Order, 1960 for one way travel along Park Street and Rectory Lane as this has been superseded by The Leicestershire County Council (Various Roads, Market Bosworth) (Borough of Hinckley & Bosworth) (One Way System) Order 2025
This order does not involve any physical changes to the road layout or any restrictions imposed which currently exist along the roads in question.
The Order will come into force on the sixth day of October 2025.
A copy of the Order and the relevant map is available for public inspection at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
