Wood Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Wall Repair Works
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WOOD STREET, EN5
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to the need to facilitate essential wall repairs to St John the Baptist Church on Wood Street, EN5 they intend to make an order which will enforce a directional closure on Wood Street, EN5 at the junction with High Street, EN5.
The works will commence on Monday 27th October 2025 and will last for 5 days. Work will take place from 09:30am-15:30pm only.
A signed diversion will be in place utilising High Street (A1000), Meadway, Potters Bar, Barnet Hill (A1000), High Street (A1000).
Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
