What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order:
U71220, Manson Lane, Manson, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71220, Manson Lane, Manson, from the junction of the C1247, then southwards for approximately 1100 metres. Grid Ref: 349997/216821. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Manson Lane onto the A466, onto the C1247 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to tree removal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
