Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Church Hill (D5516) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (D5517) Church Lane and (D5517) Church Green to its junction with (N11003) Derby Road. Alternative Route: High Lane, Weydown Road, Derby Road, Church Road, Tanners Lane, and Church Green, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate new electrical connection works for, or on behalf of Connect It Utilities Services Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 27 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Lion Lane (D5511) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Lion Lane (D5511) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (X83022) Chilcroft Road to its junction with (X551) Lion Close. Alternative Route – Lion Lane; A287 Hindhead Road; B2131 Hindhead Road; Junction Place; Lion Green; and Lion Lane or this same route in reverse. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 27 October 2025 is required to facilitate sewer repair works and/or maintenance works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Cappagh Contractors Ltd and/or Thames Water within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 1 night between the hours of 8pm and 5am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
