What is happening?

ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and (insofar as applicable) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 , as amended, and all other powers thereunto enabling.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the parking bays to operate Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 6.30pm maximum stay 2 hours no return within 1 hour in Surbiton Road outside Nos. 45 to 53, 52 to 58, and opposite Nos. 81 to 87.

3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and draft map schedules showing the location and the effect of the proposals may be inspected as follows:-

(a) online at https://consultation.appyway.com/kingston-upon-thames selecting MapKing0116 - Surbiton Road

(b) Council libraries; or

(c) copies of the draft Order and draft map schedules can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday).

4. Comments to the proposed Order can be submitted either electronically via the link provided in paragraph 3(a) or in writing to the Traffic Order Team, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU please quote ref MapKing0116 by 16 October 2025.
