The Bishops Avenue, Temporary Closure & Waiting Restrictions Due To Electrical Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

THE BISHOPS AVENUE N2.

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate electrical cable replacement works, they have made an Order which will:

(a) temporarily close The Bishops Avenue N2, between its junction with A1 Aylmer Road and No.48 The Bishops Avenue, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily introduce 'at any time' waiting and loading restrictions on both sides of The Bishops Avenue N2 from the junction of A1 Aylmer Road to No.48 The Bishops Avenue, while the works take place.

The Order will commence at 8.00am on Monday 8th September 2025 and is expected to last for 61 day. The phases of the temporary prohibitions will be enforced when indicated by the presence of appropriate signs, barriers and/or traffic cones.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform. Further information may be obtained by contacting NRSWA Team, London Borough of Barnet, via telephone on 020 8359 3555.
