Westward Road, Hedge End, Eastleigh - Temporary Road Closure due to complete gas mains replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Westward Road between its junction with Grange Road and its junction with Lake Farm Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wildern Lane, Grange Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 13th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 weeks and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
