TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 23/9/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along Public Footpath No. 4 Dilhorne Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 7 Dilhorne Parish for approximately 94 metres in a northerly direction, and then continuing for approximately 974 metres in a generally north easterly direction to its junction with Godleybarn Lane.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to dangerous and collapsing footbridge on the path.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order will come into operation on 25/9/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
