Pennypot Lane (D26) Chobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Pennypot Lane (D26) Chobham as extends from its junction with (A319) Bagshot Road to its junction with (X319) Beggars Lane. Alternative Route: (A319) Bagshot Road, (A3046) High Street, Castle Grove Road, Scotts Grove Road, Beldam Bridge Road, and Pennypot Lane, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate gas mains utility works for, or on behalf of Cadent Gas. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 days, between the hours of 7am and 7pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the diversion route.
