Churchside, Goodmanham - Temporary Traffic Regulation

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
CHURCHSIDE, GOODMANHAM

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the date
of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along
Churchside, Goodmanham commencing 13 October
2025 between 08.00 hours until 20.00 hours and
until 17 October 2025 at 08.00 hours until
20.00 hours to allow works for a new water supply.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within five days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the
road closure will be via Main Street and Churchside,
Goodmanham CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be
maintained for emergency vehicles.
