Bury Road & Clifton Road Shefford / Old School Walk, Arlesey - Plans To Introduce No Waiting At Any Time
What is happening?
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO INTRODUCE NO WAITING AT ANY TIME ON BURY ROAD AND CLIFTON ROAD, SHEFFORD
Reason for proposal: For avoiding danger to persons or other traffic and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger
arising; for facilitating the passage of traffic on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians) and more specifically the waiting restrictions are intended to address indiscriminate parking and to ensure that junctions are not obstructed by parked vehicles.
Effect of the Order: To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Shefford:-
1. Bury Road, both sides, from the junction with Clifton Road, extending in a northerly direction for approximately 12 metres.
2. Clifton Road, north side, from the junction with Bury Road, extending in an easterly direction for approximately 10 metres.
3. Clifton Road, north side, from the junction with Bury Road, extending in a westerly direction for approximately 10 metres.

Reason for proposal: For facilitating the passage of traffic on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians). More specifically the waiting restrictions are intended to address indiscriminate parking and ensure that the gates are not obstructed by parked vehicles.
Effect of the Order: To introduce No Waiting at any time on the following length of road in Arlesey:-
1. Old School Walk, north side, from a point in line with the northern flank wall of No.25 Old School Walk, and extending in a south-westerly direction, following the curvature of the road west for approximately 11 metres.
2. Old School Walk, south side, from a point in line with the shared property boundary between No.29 and No.31 Old School Walk and extending in a north-westerly direction, following the curvature of the kerb west for approximately 11 metres.
