Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Blackbird Leys, Grenoble Road

Temporary Prohibition of Waiting/Loading

Date of Order: 6 October 2025

Coming into force: 16 October 2025

This Order is being introduced because of ducting for installation of multiple fibre cables and equipment and associated network reinforcement works which are anticipated to be completed 16 December 2026, working in phases along the road. This is a 24 hour prohibition.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend parking bays and prohibit waiting and loading in Grenoble Road between Nightingale Avenue and the B480. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when and where the prohibition is in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area – Various Streets) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Permitted Parking) Order 2022 (as amended) which permits limited parking shall be suspended for the duration of the works.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T15646/AC)
