Norbeck Drive, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

NORBECK DRIVE, KEIGHLEY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Norbeck Drive, Keighley has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Norbeck Drive to a point outside No.5 Norbeck Drive to a point outside No.12 Norbeck Drive.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 29th September 2025 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 3rd October 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
