ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
FOOTPATH NO. 9 ILKLEY, ILKLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is satisfied pedestrians on or near Footpath No. 9 Ilkley, Ilkley should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath No. 9 Ilkley from its junction with Carters Lane to its junction with Denton Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
No alternative routes for pedestrian traffic affected by the Order will be available.
The Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on the 29th September 2025 and remains in force until 19:00 hours on the 24th April 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to six months if necessary).
