Seaton Road, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (C2001 SEATON ROAD, BROUGHTON MOOR) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the C2001, Seaton Road, Broughton Moor, from its junction with the U2164, extending in a north easterly direction, to its junction with the C2007.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the C2037, A594 and A596, Maryport, Ryehill Road, Wedgwood Road, Flimby Brow and the U2164.

The Order will come into operation on 20 October 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day between 0930 and 1530 hours, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
