Lingen, Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure due to Tree Maintenance Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1007 & U91621, Lingen Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1007, Lingen, approximately 203 mtrs west of the junction with the C1007 and approximately 38mtrs east of the junction with the U91621. Grid Ref: 336204/267302 to 336418/267264. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via West route: the U91621 onto the C1004 onto the C1007 and East route: C1007 onto the C1006 onto the A4113 onto the B4530 onto the A4110 onto the C1009 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to tree trimming works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day (9.00 – 15.30hrs).
