What is happening?

THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL 

Various Roads in the Borough of Guildford (Guildford 10k Event) (Temporary Traffic Measures) Order 2025 

On 22 September 2025, Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles and persons riding, leading or driving horses or any other animals, from entering or proceeding along those lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice, or any parts thereof. 

The Order will come into effect on 4 October 2025, for a period of two days and is required to facilitate the holding of an event on the highway, namely the Guildford 10k running event. 

The temporary closure will not apply to such vehicles being used in connection with the said event, or to anything done on the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police. Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water or electronic communications, to premises in the area and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic. 

The Council are satisfied that, in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which this Order relates, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, vehicular access to premises situated in the aforesaid lengths of roads, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted, save as indicated above. 

The prohibition will only be operative while the relevant signs are displayed, though it is anticipated that the closure will only take effect between 7am and 10am on 5 October, save that High Street between Quarry Street and North Street will be closed from 6pm on 4 October until 10am on 5 October. The existing prohibition of traffic in the said length of High Street and the one-way driving restriction in Market Street, imposed by The County Council of Surrey (Guildford) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1987 (as amended) will be suspended whilst this Order operates. Access for pedestrians will be unaffected. The Council are also satisfied that the event to which the Order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road. Traffic will be diverted via the A247 and the A3. 

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan showing the event route, may be inspected free of charge at Guildford Library, 77 North Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4AL, during normal opening hours. SCHEDULE – (1) High Street (A3100) Guildford, from its junction with Quarry Street to its junction with London Road/Epsom Road; 

(2) Epsom Road (A246/A25) Guildford/West Clandon, from its junction with High Street to its junction with Shere Road (A25) Rowland Road (D664) and Bank Buildings Road (D190) Cranleigh Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 22 September 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1), 14(5) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 

1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (a) Rowland Road (D664) Cranleigh as extends from its junction with High Street (B2128) to its junction with the rear access to 1 to 4A Rowland Road (X664); and (b) Bank Buildings Road (D190) Cranleigh as extends from its junction with Rowland Road (D664) and its junction with Onslow Mews (X11097); and 

2. suspend the one way restrictions to allow them to be used as an alternative route on: (a) Bank Buildings Road (D190) between its junction with High Street (B2128) to its junction with Carlyle Road (X191); and (b) Bank Buildings Road (D190) between its junction with High Street (B2128) to its junction with Onslow Mews (XX11097). 

Alternative Route – 1. B2128 (High Street), B2127 (Ewhurst Road), St Nicolas Avenue, Parsonage Road and Rowland Road, or this route in reverse. Access for Carlyle Road and Onslow Mews will be maintained during the construction of the raised tables. 

This Order is required to enable Council to facilitate improvement works on Fountain Square and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 3 October 2025 for 3 weeks over two phases. 

The first phase is expected to commence on 3 October 2025 and the second phase is expected to commence in March 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure and one way suspension, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. 

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. A308 Staines By-Pass, Staines Upon Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the south-eastbound carriageway to A308 Staines By-Pass, Staines Upon Thames that extends from its junction with A30 Staines By-Pass at the southeastern side of the “Crooked Billet Roundabout”, southwards to the northern side of the “A308/16 Crooked Billet Footbridge”, a distance of approximately 30m. This Traffic Order is required to enable Connect Plus Services to carry out carriageway repair and/or maintenance works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 10pm and 5:30am within 1 night of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 29 September 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

No sole access will be affected however access for residents, businesses and equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- A308 London Road WB, C248 Kingston Road SB and B377 Kingston Road SB, to the “Fordbridge Roundabout”, and A308 Staines By-Pass NB. C18 White Lane and C18 Foreman Road, Ash Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of C18 White Lane, and C18 Foreman Road, Ash. 

This Traffic Order is required by Circet/BT Openreach to carry out replacement of telecoms boxes and/or ducting and/or cabling and/or repair and/or maintenance works in C18 White Lane, Ash between D66 Ash Green Road and D80 Ash Green Lane East. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 3 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Hogs Back, Runfold Diversion, Blackwater Valley Road, Aldershot Road, Ash Street and Ash Church Road. D230 Hoe Lane, Abinger Hammer Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D230 Hoe Lane, Abinger Hammer that extends from its junction with Westfield, southwestwards to “High Hoe Cottages”. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable BT Openreach to access to joint boxes and/or carry out gully cleaning and/or cabling and/or repair/maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9:30am and 3:30pm within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 06 October 2025. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives. Alternative route:- Horsham Road, Felday Road, Guildford Road, Shere Road, Sherbourne, New Road, Park Road, Little London, Hook Lane and Hoe Lane. 

Harpers Road (D67) Ash Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 24 September 2025 

Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Harpers Road (D67) Ash as extends from its junction with (A323) Guildford Road to its junction with (D66) Ash Green Road. 

Alternative Route: (A323) Guildford Road, Wyke Lane, and Harpers Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate excavation works for, or on behalf of Circet. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 06 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. 

Brook Road (C31) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Brook Road (C31) Godalming as extends from its junction with (D151) Church Lane to its junction with (D152) Sebastopol Lane. 

Alternative Route: Brook Road, (A286) Haslemere Road, (A283) Cherry Tree Roundabout, (A283) Petworth Road, and Brook Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate tree felling works for, or on behalf of South East Tree Cutting. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 October 2025. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. 

Portsmouth Road (A3100) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Portsmouth Road (A3100) Godalming that is crossed under the bridge known as “Ockford Road (A3100) WPH1 17/34” and for a distance of 20 metres either side. 

Alternative Route: (1) (A3100) Portsmouth Road, (A283) Guildford Road, (A283) Link Road, (A283) Elstead Road Roundabout, (A3) Milford By-Pass, (A3) Guildford- Godalming By-Pass, (B3000) Puttenham Heath Road, (B3000) The Street, (B3000) New Pond Road, (A3100) Old Portsmouth Road, (A3100) Guildford Road, (A3100) Meadrow, (A3100) Bridge Street, (A3100) Flambard Way, and (A3100) Ockford Road; (2) (A3100) Ockford Road, (A3100) Flambard Way, (A3100) Bridge Street, (A3100) Meadrow, (A3100) Guildford Road, (A3100) Old Portsmouth Road, (B3000) New Pond Road, (B3000) The Street, (B3000) Puttenham Heath Road, (A3) Guildford – Godalming By-Pass, (A283) Guildford Road, and (A3100) Portsmouth Road. 

This Order is required to facilitate bridge inspection works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 8pm and 6am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 05 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. B376 Staines Road, Laleham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- 

(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of B376 Staines Road, Laleham which extends from its junction with Worple Road to its junction with the Broadway; and 

(b) revoke “Surrey County Council Various Roads in Runnymede and Spelthorne Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024” insofar as it relates to Staines Road, Laleham only. 

This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 October 2025. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. 

Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Alternative Route – B377 The Broadway, B377 Ashford Road, C248 Kingston Road and C244 Worple Road. 

Various in Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.6) 2025 

On 24 September 2025 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. 

This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing and/or surface dressing and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 1 October 2025. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. 

Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. 

Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. 

Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. Access for cyclists will not be maintained and will be required to follow the signed diversion route/directed by the gatemen on-site. 

Schedule 1. that length of A331 Blackwater Valley Road, Ash/Ash Vale/Tongham which extends from its junction with A31 Runfold Diversion northwards to the southern side of the Lynchford Road Bridge (Identifier A331/32). 

Note: it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in sections/phases between 8pm and 6am. 

Alternative Route – A3011 Lynchford Road (Hampshire), A325 Farnborough Road – (partly in Hampshire), A325 Farnborough Road, A325 Hale Road, A325 Farnborough Road, A31 Shepherd & Flock, A31 Runfold Diversion and A331 Blackwater Valley Road; 2. that length of C43 Beech Avenue/C43 Critten Lane, Effingham which extends from its junction with A246 Guildford Road to its junction with Crocknorth Road. 

Alternative Route – C43 Critten Lane, C44 Crocknorth Road, C44 Green Dene and A246 Guildford Road; 3. that length of B3000 The Street, Compton which extends from its roundabout junction with A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass/B3000 Puttenham Heath Road. Alternative Route 1 – A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass (National Highways), A25 Dennis Roundabout, A25 Midleton Road, A25 Woodbirdge Road, A322 Woodbridge Road, A322 Onslow Street, A3100 Park Street, A3100 Portsmouth Road and A3100 Old Portsmouth Road; Alternative Route 2 – A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass (National Highways), A283 Guilford Road, Milford, A3100 Portsmouth Road, A3100 Ockford Road, A3100 Flambard Way, A3100 Bridge Road, A3100 Meadrow, A3100 Guildford Road and A3100 Old Portsmouth Road; 4. that 
length of B367 Newark Lane, Ripley and B367 Church Hill, Pyrford which extends from the junction with Georgelands to the junction with Sandy Lane. 

Alternative Route – B367 Church Hill, D3739 Pyrford Common Road, B382 Old Woking, B382 High Street, A247 Broadmead Road, A247 Send Road, A247 Send Barns Lane, B2215 Portsmouth Road and B2215 High Street Ripley; 5. that length of B2215 Portsmouth Road, Ripley which extends from its junction with Burnt Common Lane to its junction with B2215 High Street/Georgelands. 

Alternative Route 1 – B2215 High Street, B2215 Portsmouth Road, A3 Ripley By Pass (National Highways), Exit at Burpham – A3 Slip London Road (National Highways), A3100 London Road, A3100 Clay Lane, A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass (National Highways), Exit at Send – A3 London Road (National Highways) and B2215 London Road; Alternative Route 2 – No Left turn from Send Barn Lane – across R/A A247 Clandon Road. 

Take slip road onto A3 Ripley By Pass southbound, Exit at Burpham – A3 Slip London Road (National Highways), A3100 London Road, A3100 Clay Lane, A3 Guildford – Godalming By-Pass (National Highways), A3 Portsmouth Road (National Highways), J10/M25 come off and back round into A3 towards Ripley, A3 Portsmouth Road (National Highways), B2039 Portsmouth Road, B2215 Portsmouth Road and B2215 High Street (Ripley). 

Park Road (D6227) Sunbury On Thames Temporary Suspension of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1), 14(5) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to suspend “The Borough of Spelthorne (Park Road Sunbury) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1998” to allow it to be used as an alternative route during works on the M3 and A316. 

This Order is required to enable Connect Plus Services to facilitate maintenance works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 23 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Petersfield Avenue (D3276) Staines-Upon-Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Petersfield Avenue (D3276) Staines-Upon-Thames as extends from the western boundary of the property known as “102 Petersfield Avenue” to the eastern boundary of the property known as “104 Petersfield Avenue”. 

Alternative Route – Petersfield Avenue, Kingston Road and Warick Avenue, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to enable Affinity Water to facilitate a water connection and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 October 2025 for 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 

Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Lower Eashing (D90) Godalming and Guildford-Godalming By-Pass (D90) Shackleford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- (a) Lower Eashing (D90) Godalming as extends from its junction with the slip road leading from the coastbound carriageway of the A3 at Lower Eashing Junction to the access for the petrol station; and (b) the entire length of Guildford-Godalming By-Pass (D90) Shackleford. 

Alternative Route – A3, A283 (Guildford Road), Eashing Lane, The Hollow and Lower Eashing, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to enable National Highways to facilitate structure inspections on the A3 and associated works. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 22 October 2025 for 5 nights between the hours of 9.00pm and 5.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times. 

D4004 Commercial Road and C93 Woodbridge Road, Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Banned Turn Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 

1. Prohibit vehicles that are proceeding in a northerly direction on D4004 Commercial Road, Guildford from turning right into C93 Leapale Road and/or X7421 Woodbridge Road. 

2. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C93 Woodbridge Road, Guildford (southbound carriageway) that extends across the western arm of its junction with D4004 Commercial Road. 

3. Suspend “The Surrey County Council Woodbridge Road (C93) and Commercial Road (D4004) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. 

4. Suspend “The County Council of Surrey Commercial Road (D4004) and Woodbridge Road (C93) Guildford (Revocation of Bus Lane and Bus Lane) Order 2004” insofar as imposes the northbound bus lane in that length of C93 Woodbridge Road, Guildford that extends from its junction with D4004 Commercial Road, to its junction with A322 Onslow Street. 

This Traffic Order is required to enable ALS Civil to carry out electrical connection and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9pm and 6am, within 9 nights of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary banned turn, closure and suspensions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. 

Access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Woodbridge Road, Onslow Road, Woodbridge Road. 

New Park Road (D3265) Ashford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of New Park Road (D3265) Ashford as extends from its junction with (D3265) Poplar Road westwards for a distance of 50 metres. 

Alternative Route – Poplar Road; Coolgardie Road; Park Road; and New Park Road or this same route in reverse. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 13 October 2025 is required to facilitate utility repair works and/or maintenance works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Affinity Water within the length of road described in this notice. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over three days between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. 

All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. Albury Road (D4007) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Albury Road (D4007) Guildford as extends from its junction with (C37) Warren Road to its junction with (D4029) Ferndown Close. 

Alternative Route: Warren Road, Upper Edgeborough Road, (A246) Epsom Road, and Albury Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate underground cabling works for, or on behalf of Road Traffic Solutions Ltd. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

High View (D227) Gomshall Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of High View (D227) Gomshall. Alternative Route: Queen Street, (A25) Station Road, and Goose Green, or this route in reverse. 

This Order is required to facilitate new electrical connection works for, or on behalf of UKPN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 October 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Potters Lane (D233) Send Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Potters Lane (D233) Send as extends from its junction with (X7422) Navigation Way to its junction with (X233) Briar Road. 

Alternative Route: Potters Lane, (A247) Send Road, Send Hill, and Potters Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer connection works for, or on behalf of Axtell Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 9 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 25 October 2025. 

Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Bittams Lane (D3030) Chertsey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025 Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Bittams Lane (D3030) Chertsey as extends from its junction with (D3027) Little Green Lane to its junction with the access to the property known as “Woodside Farm”. 

Alternative Route: Little Green Lane, Ferndale Avenue, and Bittams Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate replacement/ repair of chamber works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. 

These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 8am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation.
