What is happening?

Somerset Council Parish of Bishop's Hull Temporary Closure of Upcott Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Upcott Road -from 106 metres west of the junction with Wheaton Lane, westwards for a total distance of 61 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out service upgrade works.

The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 17th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
