Monument Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Jetting Works

Somerset Council Parish of Wellington Without Temporary Closure of Monument Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Monument Road - from the junction with Wellington Relief Road, southwards for a total distance of 737 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out jetting works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 14th October 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 2 days.
