HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar 3ydd Hydref 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelwyd  bod y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 3ydd Hydref 2025 a’r 5ed Hydref 2025. Noder y bydd yr amseroedd cau yn amrywio bob dydd - gweler isod am fanylion.  

i. Heol Nant-Y-Deri, Goetre ar gau ar y 3ydd o Hydref 2025 rhwng 08:00-16:00
ii. Heol Nant-Y-Deri, Goetre ar gau ar y 4ydd o Hydref 2025 rhwng 21:00 a 07:00 ar fore'r 5ed o Hydref 2025  

2. Roedd angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn atgyweirio gwaith brics mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.   Cedwir mynediad rhesymol ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro rhan o Heol Nant-Y-Deri, Goetre, Sir Fynwy, ~150m o'r gyffordd â Heol yr Eglwys am ~100m.  

4.  Roedd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn:- Heol yr Eglwys, Heol Newtown, Heol y Seren ac i’r gwrthwyneb.  

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Heol Nant-Y-Deri, Goetre,  Sir Fynwy 2025.

6.  Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(NANT-Y-DERRY ROAD, GOYTRE, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Has made an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order came into operation on the 3rd October 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 3rd October 2025 and 5th October 2025. Please note that the closure times will differ on each day, see below for details.  
i. Nant-Y-Derry Road, Goytre to be closed on the 3rd of October 2025 operating between 08:00-16:00
ii. Nant-Y-Derry Road, Goytre to be closed on the 4th of October 2025 from 21:00 to 07:00 the morning of the 5th of October 2025.  

2. The order was necessary for Brickwork repair works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order was to temporarily close a section of Nant-Y-Derry Road, Goytre, Monmouthshire, ~150m from its junction with Church Road for ~100m.  

4. A signed diversionary route was in place as follows:- Church Road, Newtown Road, Star Road and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Nant-Y-Derry Road, Goytre, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
