What is happening?

RHODDIR RHYBUDD, DRWY HYN, fod y Cyngor, fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Melin Ifan Ddu, wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu cyhoeddi Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod dros dro mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o’r Rhybudd hwn. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd lled annigonol y ffordd gerbydau i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod gwaith ailwynebu’r ffordd ac mae er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 15/10/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 19:00 a 00:00 o 15/10/2025 tan 23/10/2025.

Atodlen- Ni chaiff unrhyw berson beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd yr A4093 (Glynogwr) o’i chyffordd â Lôn Dimbath, Glynogwr hyd at ei chyffordd â Glyn-llan, sef pellter o tua 2km.Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau yw ar hyd yr A4093 (Glynogwr), A4093 (Gilfach Goch), A4119 (Tonyrefail), A4058 (Porth), A4058 (Llwynypia), A4058 (Treorci), A4061 (Mynydd Bwlch), A4061 (Nant-y-moel), A4061 (Lewistown), A4061 (Melin Ifan Ddu), A4093 (Melin Ifan Ddu), ac i’r gwrthwyneb.Cynhelir mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiad ar gyfer yr Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân a’r Gwasanaethau Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol ond ar yr adeg ac i’r graddau a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig. Bydd y rhain yn cael eu pennu gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (A4093 GLYNOGWR TO GLYNLLAN) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Blackmill in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during carriageway resurfacing works and is in the interest of public safety.

The Order will come into force on the 15/10/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 19:00 and 00:00 from the 15/10/2025 to 23/10/2025.

Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along A4093 Glynogwr from its junction with Dimbath Lane, Glynogwr to its junction with Glynllan a distance of approximately 2km.The alternative route for vehicles is via A4093 Glynogwr, A4093 Gilfach Goch, A4119 Tonyrefail, A4058 Porth, A4058 Llwynypia, A4058 Treorchy, A4061 Bwlch Mountain, A4061 Nantymoel, A4061 Lewistown, A4061 Blackmill, A4093 Blackmill and vice versa.

Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. 

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. 

The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
