Temporary Closure Of Lower Way, Chickerell
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along LOWER WAY, CHICKERELL between no. 13 Lower Way, Chickerell and its junction with Putton Lane, a distance of approximately 55 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 13 October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 21 November 2025
This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to facilitate laying new pipework.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: School Hill - East Street - Lower Way

Temporary Traffic Management Order Of Various Roads, Dorchester
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in areas in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 12 October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 November 2025.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surface treatment works and associated ironworks.
The effects of this Order will include:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Coburg Road between its junctions with Edward Road and Clarence Road, 14 October - 24 October between 0800 and 1800
[2] To impose temporary road closure on Edward Road between its junctions with Weymouth Avenue and Alexandra Road, 14 October - 20 October between 0800 and 1800
[3] To impose temporary road closure on West Walks Road for its entirety, 13 October - 16 October between 0800 and 1800
[4] To impose temporary road closure on Lucetta Lane for it entirety, 13 - 16 October between 0930 and 1430
[5] To impose temporary clearway on Coburg Road between its junctions with Edward Road and Clarence Road to prevent vehicles from stopping except those associated with the works, 14 October - 24 October between 0800 and 1800

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

It will come into operation on 17 October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 23 October 2025.
This Order will enable Colas and Dorset Council to carry out surface treatment works and associated ironworks.
The effect of this Order will be;
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Selwyn Close for its entirety
[2] To impose temporary clearway on Selwyn Close for its entirety to prevent vehicles from stopping except those associated with the works
Please note that any vehicle waiting in contravention of temporary parking restrictions may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. [3] To impose temporary clearway on Chapel Lane between its junction with Dorchester Road and the railway road bridge to prevent vehicles from stopping except those associated with the works
[4] To impose temporary clearway on Chapel Lane cul-de-sac for its entirety to prevent vehicles from stopping except those associated with the works

Temporary Closure Of Binghams Road, Crossways
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 9th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 13th October 2025.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
The effect of the order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Binghams Road, Crossways between Dick O Th Banks Road and Green Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 510 metres. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Please note that any restriction or prohibition will be clearly defined by signs on site. Advanced warning signs will be placed on the road two weeks advance of the closure to indicate the exact dates the closures are expected to be in place.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Binghams Road, Crossways between Dick O Th Banks Road and Green Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 510 metres. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
