Pauls Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - PAULS LANE, SWAY, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Pauls Lane between its junction with Coombe Lane and continuing to a point 230 metres East on Pauls Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Pauls Lane, Pitmore Lane, Chapel Lane, Coombe Lane, Pauls Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 6th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
