Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Mudgeon, Road From Mudgeon To Crossroads West Of Tregonwell, St Martin) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Martin.

This prohibition is necessary for defect repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd October 2025 to 27th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Mudgeon, St Martin between the junction of Fords Hill and the Access To Withian and Road From Mudgeon To Crossroads West Of Tregonwell, Manaccan between the Access To Withian and the junction of Kestle.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being A394 Between School Road And B3304, Breage between grid reference SW62443 27519 and the junction of Antron, Antron, Helston between grid references SW62673 27658 and SW62929 27779 and B3304 Between The A394 And Methleigh Bottoms, Porthleven between grid reference SW62672 27457 and the junction of Antron for approximately 547 and 221 metres.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out safety barrier replacement works.

The Order will come into operation on 22nd October 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 25th October 2025.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Ruan High Lanes.

This prohibition is necessary for ploughing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From The A3078 From Garage North East Of Treswithian To Junction South Of Ivy Cottage, Ruan High Lanes between grid references SW89798 40379 and SW90096 40723.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Threemilestone.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 1st December 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From The A390 Roundabout At Threemilestone To Penventinnie Lane, Threemilestone between grid references SW77818 45204 and SW78073 45411.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mylor Bridge. 

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Carclew Road, Mylor Bridge for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Penryn.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Treverva, Penryn between grid reference SW75590 31610 and the property named Aqua View.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 22nd September 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Falmouth.

This prohibition is necessary for electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th October 2025 to 13th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Mount Zion Cottages, Falmouth and Road From Waterloo Road To Mount Zion Cottages, Falmouth for their entire lengths.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mullion.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 26th October 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0700 and 1100, weekdays only.

Road affected - Nansmellyon Road, Mullion between the junctions of Eglos Parc and Churchtown.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Helston.

This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th October 2025 to 24th October 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Church Street for its entire length and Church Hill between the junctions of Church Street and Parc Eglos, Helston.
