What is happening?

(U679N CHURCH STREET) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U679n at Troqueer Church Hall, Dumfries. At this time, it is necessary to revoke the one-way system on Church Street to allow residents access from 0900 on 06/10/25 to 2359 on 15/10/25. The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water sewer works. Alternative route available via Rotchell Road, New Abbey Road, Maxwell Street and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U715N ELIZABETH WALK) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U715n outside No.27 Elizabeth Walk, Dumfries from 0900 on 05/10/25 to 2359 on 13/10/25. 
The closure is necessary to facilitate Scottish Water sewer works. 
Alternative route available via Elizabeth Walk, Priory Road, Lincluden Road, Stewartry Road, Elizabeth Walk and vice versa. 
Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(U809N LEWARS AVENUE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2025 
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close U809n Lewars Avenue, Dumfries from its junction with Lochside Road to the junction of Lorimer Crescent from 0800 on 07/10/25 to 1700 on 17/10/25. 
The closure is necessary to facilitate works to provide new service. Alternative route available via Lochside Road, Riddell Avenue, Lewars Avenue and vice versa. Emergency access will be available if required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
