What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON
(MORTON ROAD, RUNCORN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Road(s) affected: Footpath 16NT, side of 33 Morton Road, Runcorn
Maximum duration of the Order: 6 months from the date the Order comes into effect
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road
Alternative Routes: Where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided
Note: the closure is to lay a new high voltage electrical cable and is expected take approx. 15 days. For further information please contact:0151 5250725

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Road(s) affected: James Close, Widnes
Maximum duration of the Order: 18 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the road
Alternative Routes: None available resident access maintained

Date Order to come into effect: 6 October 2025
Reason for making the Order: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
