Dudley - Various Temporary Road Closures

DUDLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make the following Orders,

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Public Right Of Way BRH0439 – Bryce Road, Pensnett) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any pedestrians proceeding on the Public Right of Way BRH429 at Bryce Road, Pensnett (from 76 Bryce Road to 18 Mullett Street) for the purpose of the safe installation of new cables and substation being carried out on or near the affected public right of way. The order will come into operation on 13/10/2025 and will remain in force until 24/10/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 6 months. Pedestrians will be diverted via: Bryce Road, Bromley and Mullett Street. 

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Planet Road, Brockmoor) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Planet Road, Brockmoor, for the purpose of an off site sewer connection being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 13.10.2025 and will remain in force until 09.11.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. No diversion route is required.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Love Lane, Oldswinford) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Love Lane, Oldswinford, for the purpose of carriageway reconstruction works being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 16/10/2025 and will remain in force until 31/10/2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Stanley Road, Norton Road, Worcester Street, and Heath Lane.

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Folkes Road, Lye) Order 2025 the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding on Folkes Road, Lye, for the purpose of gas mains replacement being carried out on or near the affected road. The order will come into operation on 13.10.2025 and will remain in force until 24.10.2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The maximum duration of the order is 18 months. Traffic will be diverted via: Folkes Road, Hingley Road, Park Road, The Hayes, Hayes Lane, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
