What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

VARIOUS ROADS, CYCLEWAYS AND PUBLIC FOOTWAYS ALCESTER AREA — ALCESTER 10K RUN 2025
Order Effect: The roads/footways/cycleways as indicated below will be closed:

Henley Street Kinwarton Road Alcester
Kinwarton Road Captains Hill School Road Kinwarton
School Road  Village Road Pelham Lane Great Alne
Pelham Lane Haselor
Walcote Road
Wood Lane Great Alne
Stratford Road Oversley Green,
Stratford Road Alcester
High Street
Church Street
0600 - 1400hrs

Reason for Order: The closures and restrictions are required for the safety of the public and of the participants in the Alcester 10K Run 2025.
Order Commences: 5 October 2025 for 1 day

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

D51330 WATERY LANE, ULLENHALL
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Ullenhall Street to Perry Mill Lane.
Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs. 15 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Perry Mill Lane, Gentlemans Lane, Forde Hall Lane, Ullenhall Street and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

D5207 SAMBOURNE LANE, SAMBOURNE
Order Effect: Road closed between Oak Tree Lane and Sambourne Park.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works, Closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 13 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 17 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Jill Lane, Oak Tree Lane and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible and safe to do so.

ARDEN ROAD, ALCESTER
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable telecoms work.
Order Commences: 14 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 15 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Tything Road West, Kinwarton Farm Road, Kinwarton Road, Captains Hill, School Road, Village Road, Alne End, Henley Road, Alcester Road, Wootton Rise, Stratford Road, New Road, Hunger Hill, Oldberrow Lane, Oldberrow Road, Redditch Road, Birmingham Road, Priory Square, Haydon Way, Coughton Hill, Willoughby Close, Arden Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Ericsson, Tel: 01652 656 291.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
