THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (STUCLEY ROAD, BIDEFORD) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 13/10/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 5/12/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: Stucley Road, Bideford, Rolling Works - 0/5 38 Stucley Road To S/O 138 Stucley Road.
PHASE 1 - 0/5 38 Stucley Road To 0/S 76 Stucley Road Anticipated Start Date 13/10/2025 To Anticipated End Date 02/11/2025.
PHASE 2 - 0/S 72 Stucley Road To 0/S 102 Stucley Road Anticipated Start Date 03/11/2025 To Anticipated End Date14/11/2025. Phase 3 - 0/S 104 Stucley Road To S/0 138 Stucley Road Anticipted Start Date 17/11/2025 To Anticipated End Date 05/12/2025.
The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - PYNES LANE TO STUCLEY ROAD, PYNES LANE, BURTON ROAD, STUCLEY ROAD.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Lead Replacement Scheme - Lead Replacement To Resolve Water Quality Issues.
