Salford - Multiple Traffic Notices
What is happening?
Salford City Council proposes to make the:
CITY OF SALFORD (KINTYRE AVENUE AND SURROUNDING AREA) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR) ORDER 2025
CITY OF SALFORD (KINTYRE AVENUE AND SURROUNDING AREA) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effects of the Orders will be:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME ON:
Kintyre Avenue: (i) Both sides from its junction with the westerly extended kerbline of Cemetery Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction, (ii) North side from a point 10 metres east of the easterly extended kerbline of Cumbrae Gardens to a point 10 metres west of the westerly extended kerbline of Cumbrae Gardens.
(iii) South and west side from a point 30.2m east of the culde- sac end, in a westerly direction for 30.2m, then northerly direction for 9.1m, (iv) North side from its cul-de-sac end for a distance of 8 metres in an easterly then north easterly direction.
Cumbrae Gardens: Both sides from its junction with the north-easterly extended kerbline of Kintyre Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction
Cemetery Road: (i) West side from a point 10 metres north of the northern extended kerbline of Kintyre Avenue to a point 10 metres south of the southerly extended kerbline of Kintyre Avenue, (ii) West side a point 95.6 metres south of the southerly extended kerbline of Kintyre Avenue for a distance of 34.4 metres in a southerly then easterly direction around the cul-de-sac end.
NO STOPPING ON SCHOOL ENTRANCE MARKINGS MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 8AM - 5 PM ON:
Kintyre Avenue: Southwest side from a point 30.2 metres east of the cul-de-sac end, for a distance of 43.56 metres in an easterly direction.
20MPH SPEED LIMIT
The Order shall introduce 20MPH Speed limit on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise stated under the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 on: Kirkham Street, Smyrna Street, Nelson Street Cemetery Road, Kintyre Avenue & Cumbrae Gardens.
