ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C624 HIGH STREET, TUDDENHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C624 High Street, Tuddenham from 400 metres north west of Cavenham Road for 25 metres north westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Cavenham Road, Tuddenham Road, The Street, C627 From District Boundary to C624, Road from District Boundary to C629, Cavenham Road, The Green, Flempton Road, Risby Road, the A1101, the A11 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/09/2025 - 26/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C612 HERRINGSWELL ROAD, KENTFORD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C612 Herringswell Road, Kentford from Mandisfield for 300 metres southbound to facilitate overlaying telecommunications infrastructure. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Herringswell Road, Dane Hill Road, Church Lane, the B1085, the B1506, Herringswell Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/09/2025 - 01/10/2025 from 7pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C698 FELSHAM ROAD AND COCKFIELD ROAD, COCKFIELD AND FELSHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
? the C698 Felsham Road, Cockfield
? the C698 Cockfield Road, Felsham from Darkings Lane to Felsham Road, Cockfield.
This is to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Upper Green, Bury Road, Felsham, Drinkstone Road, Felsham Road, Gedding, Felsham Road, Bradfield St George, Hollybush Corner, Bury Road, Bradfield St George, Lower Green, Low Green, Bury Road, Bradfield St Clare, Bradfield Road, Great Green and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/09/2025 - 26/09/2025 from 8am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE A137 BRIDGE STREET AND
THE B1073 STOKE STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
? A137 Bridge Street, Ipswich from the junction with Stoke Street to the junction with the traffic lights
? B1073 Stoke Street, Ipswich from Burrell Road to Vernon Street.
This is to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
? via Belstead Road - Belmont Road, Shepherd Drive, Scrivener Drive, London Road with no vice versa
? via Grafton Way - Bridge Street, Grafton Way, Commercial Road, West End Road, London Road with no vice versa
? via West End Road - London Road, West End Road, Chancery Road, Grafton Way, Bridge Street with no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 25/09/2025 from 8pm - 11pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE U4414 BLOOD HILL, SOMERSHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4414 Blood Hill, Somersham from 80 metres north of Wayside for 80 metres northbound to facilitate pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Blood Hill, Flowton Road, Church Lane, Main Road, Ipswich Road, Elmsett Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 25/09/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARISHES OF HARTEST AND BROCKLEY) (BURY ROAD)
(B1066) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 202-
Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order for the Parishes of Hartest and Brockley under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which would be to introduce a 40mph speed limit to Bury Road, (B1066) from the 30mph speed limit terminal to the south of Brockley, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 595m.
Copies of the draft order, map showing the roads affected and the Council’s reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday; also at Glemsford Library, Unit 1a Bells Lane, Glemsford CO10 7QA. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm, and Sunday 11am - 3pm.
Objections and any other representations relating to these proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must reach Suffolk County Council Legal Services at the address below or at: jacob.davis@suffolk.gov.uk no later than 15/10/2025. Please note that any such correspondence cannot be regarded as confidential and may be inspected by any interested party.
This Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is being readvertised due to the relocation of speed limit signs, having previously been advertised on the 07/04/2025. Any representations made during the previous consultation period will be taken into account as part of this consultation.
