Temporary Restriction of Vehicular Traffic Order 2025
Edison Road, Welling
Notice of Intention
The London Borough of Bexley, being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that, to enable highway improvement works by a contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley they intend to make an Order the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic (Road Closure) in Edison Road from the junction with Wickham Street to the junction with Dryden Road, Welling.
No waiting or loading (Parking Restrictions) in Edison Road from the junction with Wickham Street to the junction with Dryden Road, Welling.
The Order will come into effect on 8 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be via:
Dryden Road, Glenmore Grove and Wickham Street
Wickham Street, Chaucer Road, Milton Road, Dryden Road and reverse
Access to Peregrine Court to be maintained
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden or emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Prohibition of traffic on Love Lane, Bexley from the junction with Upton Road South to the junction with Knoll Road, Bexley
No waiting restriction (and loading prohibition) in Love Lane, Bexley from the junction with Upton Road South to the junction with Knoll Road, Bexley (both sides of the carriageway)
The Order will come into effect on 8 October 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
Whilst the works are in progress, alternative routes will be via:
Bank Lane, Upton Road and reverse
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden or emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Notice of Making an Order
The London Borough of Bexley being the Traffic Authority for the above-mentioned road, in exercise of powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an Order has been made to enable carriageway resurfacing works by a Council contractor on behalf of London Borough of Bexley, the effects of which will be the introduction of:
Prohibition of traffic from travelling in either direction from the junction with Granville Road to 18 Highview Road, Sidcup
Road closure to both sides of the carriageway in Highview Road, Sidcup from the junction with Granville Road to 18 Highview Road, Sidcup (both sides of the carriageway)
The Order will come into effect on 29 September 2025 and is valid for a period of 18 months. However, the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
Whilst the works are in progress, no alternative route will be provided. Access to be always maintained for residents and emergency services.
Nothing in this Notice will apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or traffic warden or emergency service vehicles, or to vehicles being used in connection with the works.
The restrictions described above will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by traffic signs as prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Bexley (New Eltham Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025
The Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.
The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No XX) Traffic Order 2025 would be to make changes to various scheduled definitions of lengths of waiting and loading restrictions in the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2019, without physically changing any existing markings so that the definitions of those waiting and loading restrictions in the Order schedules accurately reflect the existing markings on street and can be better referred to hereon.
The general effect of the Bexley (New Eltham Station) (Parking Places) (Amendment No. XX) Traffic Order 2025 would be to make a minor correction to:
a. The general effect of the Bexley (New Eltham Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 by replacing a revoked disabled bay with a controlled parking zone bay in Oakley Drive New Eltham
The general effect of the Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre)(Parking Places) (Amendment No XX) Traffic Order 2025 would be to make a minor correction to:
a. The general effect of the Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre)(Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018 by replacing a revoked disabled bay with a controlled parking zone bay in Stanhope Road Sidcup
Copies of the Orders, the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and a plan indicating the affected areas have been made and those Orders; the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and any made Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
