What is happening?
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS LOCATIONS, HYNDBURN BOROUGH) (VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS (25-26 NO2D)) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Blackburn Road, Oswaldtwistle, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Buttermere Drive for a distance of 48 metres in a northeasterly direction;
b) Spring Street, Rishton, the east side, from a point 3.5 metres south-east of its junction with the centreline of Brook Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south easterly direction.
2. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm in Corporation Street, Accrington, the south side, from its roundabout junction with the centreline of Willows Lane for a distance of 17 metres in a south westerly direction.
3. Introduce a restriction of loading and unloading Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm in Cartmel Avenue, Accrington, the north east side, from a point 83 metres south-east of its junction with the centreline of Broadfield Road around the turning head to a point 95 metres south-east of its junction with the centreline of Broadfield Road.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington, BB5 0PF and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx.
