Southgate Avenue - Temporary Prohibition of Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading
What is happening?
PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (SOUTHGATE AVENUE, SOUTHGATE CLOSE, BASINGHALL CLOSE, TUDOR CLOSE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING, WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which is:
1. To prohibit the parking, waiting, loading & unloading of vehicles in:
- Southgate Avenue - from Great Orchard Close to Holmwood Avenue
- Southgate Close - for its entirety
- Basinghall Close - for its entirety
- Tudor Close - for its entirety
The prohibition of parking, waiting, loading & unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The Order shall come into force on 27th October 2025 and shall continue in force for a maximum of 18 months
It is anticipated that the phased gas main works will commence on the 27th October 2025 until 22nd December 2025 24hrs
