MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)

Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000145869763: The City of Manchester (Rochdale Road, Charlestown Ward) (Temporary Closure of Bus Lane) Order 2025under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit any bus, taxi or pedal cycle from proceeding at any time in the following length of bus lane: (Rochdale Road) From 1064 Rochdale Road to White Moss Road, From Milo Street to 1227 Rochdale Road. The City Council is satisfied that this Closure is necessary in order to Facilitate Utility works.. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 4th & 5th October 2025 & 11th to 17th October 2025 The order shall come into operation on 4th October 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
