Twyford Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TWYFORD ROAD, BINFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
a) Twyford Road, Binfield in both directions between the junctions of B3018 Church Lane and Spring Wheel Lane.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: B3018 Church Hill, B3018 Church Lane, Tilehurst Lane, B3034 Forest Road, Maidenhead Road, The Straight Mile and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while a pole is replaced within the verge.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 08:00 15th October 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 15th October 2025 at 09:30 until 15th October 2025 at 18:00.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
