Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 17th of September 2025 the Cambridgeshire County Council (“CCC”) has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers the effect of which is to:
Revoke the permanent 40mph speed limit on the A1307; between points 107m and 684m southeast of its junction with Pathfinder Link Rd; between points 157m and 1922m northwest of the centre of the Views Common Link Rd roundabout. Amend the extent of the 40mph speed limit on Views Common Link Rd to match existing on street extents. The Order was initially advertised with the title “CCC (A1037 & Views Common Link Road, Huntingdon) (30mph & 40mph Speed Limits) Order 2025” but has been changed to account for the consolidation of other speed limits.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on the 25th of September 2025 together with a map showing the effects of the Order and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for having made the Order, may be inspected at the office of the undersigned during normal office hours and online, on the Council’s website, at the following address https://shorturl.at/cjnIO – see reference PR1117.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may do so by application to the High Court within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made.
