What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) (ESPLANADE, SEATON) ORDER 2025

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PEDESTRIANS

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 29/9/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 20/3/26. Between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed & no person shall proceed on foot on the sections of Affected Roads except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of roads. Roads affected: ESPLANADE, SEATON, (BETWEEN BEACH ROAD & MARINE PLACE).

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - BEACH ROAD, HARBOUR ROAD, MARINE PLACE, & VICE VERSA.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: OCCASIONAL ROAD CLOSURES AS REQUIRED FOR APARTMENT CONSTRUCTION & ASSOCIATED WORKS. For additional information contact: FOSSEWAY TRANSITION LTD.
