Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Temporary Traffic Order - Boundary Festival
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 17th September 2025 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle that is not participating in or connected with the Boundary Festival to proceed in, exit from, or turn into any lengths of road specified below, except upon the direction or with the permission of a Police Constable in uniform or that of a uniformed marshal or access for residents:
Road Closure - Stony Mere Way from its junction with A270 Lewes Road to its junction with University Way/Sports Centre Road from 22:00 on Thursday 25th September 2025 to 01:00 on Sunday 28th September 2025.
2. Taxi Rank on Village Way - the temporary closure of nearside lane of eastbound carriageway, for the provision of a taxi rank for pick up only from 20:00 on Saturday 27th September 2025 to 01:00 on Sunday 28th September 2025.
3. During the event, under direction of event officials, these measures may be lifted to enable vehicular access for residents.
4. The Order is necessary to allow access for Boundary Festival.
This Order comes into force as detailed above.
