RHODDIR RHYBUDD, DRWY HYN, fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pontycymer, wrth gyflawni ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu cyhoeddi Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiadau dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol am fod angen cau’r ffordd a rhoi cyfyngiadau parcio ar waith er diogelwch y peirianwyr er mwyn iddyn nhw ailosod a phrofi polion. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 06/10/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig ar gyfer Atodlenni 1 a 2 yn cael ei wneud ar 06/10/2025 rhwng 09:30 a 15:30, neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, hyd at uchafswm o 18 mis.
Atodlenni - Ni chaiff unrhyw berson achosi i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ymlaen fel yr amlinellir yn yr Atodlenni isod:
- Atodlen 1:- 20 metr o Heol Alexandra, Pontycymer, o’r gyffordd â Stryd Rhydychen.
- Atodlen 2:- Dim aros ar unrhyw adeg gyda chyfyngiad parcio ar waith ar Stryd Rhydychen, am bellter o 20 metr ar y naill ochr a’r llall i’r gyffordd â Heol Alexandra.
Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau ar gyfer Atodlen 1 yw ar hyd Stryd Rhydychen, Stryd Richard, Stryd y Ddôl, Heol Alexandra, ac i’r gwrthwyneb. Cynhelir mynediad i’r gwasanaethau brys. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo. Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol ond ar yr adeg ac i’r graddau a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig. BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(ALEXANDRA ROAD, PONTYCYMER) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Pontycymer in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is necessary due to the road closure and parking restrictions being required for the safety of the engineers in order to carry out pole replacement and pole testing works. The Order will come into force on the 06/10/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months, or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that the planned works for Schedules 1 and 2 will be undertaken on 06/10/2025 between the hours of 09:30am and 15:30pm, or until such time as the works are completed, up to a maximum of 18 months.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed as outlined in the below Schedules:
- Schedule 1:- 20 metres of Alexandra Road, Pontycymer, from the junction with Oxford street.
- Schedule 2:- No waiting at any time with a parking restriction in place on Oxford street, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the junction with Alexandra Road.
The alternative route for vehicles for Schedule 1 is via Oxford Street, Richard Street, Meadow Street, Alexandra Road, and vice versa. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Pedestrian access will be maintained to all properties. The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
