Footpath Park Hill To Shilo Way, Awsworth - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving For New Connection Works
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH FROM PARK HILL TO SHILO WAY, AWSWORTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025 (BX25-161)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Awsworth in the Borough of Broxtowe.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. No Persons on foot or pedal cycle are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of roads at Bramcote in the Borough of Broxtowe: -
Footpath between Park Hill and Shilo Way, Awsworth - for its whole length.
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 07:30 hours on Monday 6th October 2025
Until 17:30 hours on Sunday 2nd November 2025 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
Park Hill - Ginn Close Way - Shilo Way and Vice versa
The Order will come into force on 6th October 2025 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 6 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Avove on behalf of Severn Trent Water to carry out New connection works.
