The Cornwall Council Public Footpath No. 1 St Germans (Part) (Tredudwell)
Public Path Diversion Order 2025
The above order made by Cornwall Council on 16 September 2025 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will, if confirmed, divert a length of Public Footpath number 1 in the Parish of St Germans commencing at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 1 St Germans to be retained approximately 10 metres north-west of “Tredudwell” at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 34067/61791 then continuing in a generally east-north-easterly direction for a distance of 129 metres terminating at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 1 St Germans to be retained approximately 123 metres east-north-east of “Tredudwell” at OSGR SX 34192/61822 to a revised line commencing at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 1 St Germans to be retained, commencing at its junction approximately 10 metres north-west of “Tredudwell” at OSGR SX 34067/61791 then continuing in a generally northerly then east-northeasterly then south-easterly then easterly then south-south-easterly direction for a distance of 199 metres terminating at its junction with a part of Public Footpath 1 to be retained approximately 123 metres eastnorth- east of “Tredudwell” at OSGR SX 34192/61822.
A copy of the order and order map may be downloaded from Cornwall Council’s website at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment/ countryside/public-path-orders/made-public-path-orders/ and has also been placed and may be seen free of charge at Liskeard Library and Information Service, Barras Street, Liskeard, Cornwall, PL14 6AB between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm Mondays – Fridays and 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays.
Alternatively copies of the order and order map may be obtained free of charge from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Public Rights of Way Officer at Public Rights of Way, Cornwall Council, New County Hall, TR1 3AY or by email to proworders@cornwall.gov.uk. (quoting reference HAD 300) no later than Friday 31 October 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, then Cornwall Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order.
If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. 01 October 2025
