White House Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(WHITE HOUSE ROAD, BIRCOTES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) NOTICE 2025 (BS25-286b)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Bircotes in the District of Bassetlaw
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of roads at Bircotes in the District of Bassetlaw: - White House Road, Bircotes - Between its junctions with Whitehouse Court and White House Drive.
1. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
2. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 00:01 hours on Friday 26th September 2025 until 23:59 hours Friday 3rd October 2025.
This Order will come into force on 26th September 2025 and continues the restrictions introduced by the 21-day notices BS25-286b which came into force on 5th September 2025 for a maximum of 18 months.
The Prohibition is required by Seven Trent Water replace defective pipe to avoid pollution
