What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE A4171 PAGANHILL LANE (CAINSCROSS PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4171 Paganhill Lane from its junction with Cainscross Roundabout to outside the property known as “3 Spring Bank” for a distance of approximately 10 metres.

The reason for the closure is for safety during the installation of overhead fibre cabling.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on the 8th October 2025 only or until the said

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (KINGS STANLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(as amended) to temporarily close parts of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for new broadband connection works.

The said roads are expected to be closed from 2nd October 2025 only where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are actually in force. Advance warning of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. The roads are planned to be closed sequentially in a rolling programme with approximately 136 metres.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401446 WELL HILL (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401446 Well Hill road from the property known as “Number 4” to outside the property known as “Number 6” for a distance of approximately 10 metres.

The reason for the closure is for Gigaclear works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 2nd October 2025 until 8th October 2025 only or until the said works have been completed where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is actually in force.

Suspension of Order

In order to facilitate the said works, it will be necessary to suspend the relevant provisions, as stated above, of the ‘On Street Parking Order 2017 (King Street)(Town of Stroud) (Variation) Order 2024’.

There will be no waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The reason for the closure is for works for a “New Electrical Supply”.

The said road is expected to be closed from 29th September 2025 where the presence of approved signage will

indicate whether the closure is in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closure taking effect. This Order may permit the said closure in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17th October 2025. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is earlier.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 261174 Footway, from Foxmoor Lane to Berkeley Close, Cashes Green from the point adjoining 48 The Bassetts to the spur of the footway adjoining 17-31 The Bassetts, for a total distance of approximately 136 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for footway resurfacing works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 405854 Homefield Road from its junction with Shortwood Road to outside the property known as “8 Homefield” for a distance of approximately 85 metres.

The reason for the closure is for wastewater pipe works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 13th October 2025 until 17:00hrs on 13th October 2025

This Order may permit the said closure in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 17th October 2025. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407550 Foxmoor Lane from its junction with Deveraux Crescent to outside of the property known as ‘No.3 Foxmoor Lane’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole maintenance works on behalf of Severn Trent Water

The said road is expected to be closed on 12th October 2025 only. However, if the works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
