Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Curbridge Footpath 185/1/10

Date of Order: 31 March 2025

Date of Closure: 10 April 2025

This Order was introduced because of a failed bridge over a water course – not safe for public use. This closure has been further extended following the need for additional ecological surveys. A completion date is not yet known.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath 185/1/10 southwest of New Mill Lane. Exceptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath. No official alternative route is available. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

With the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport the closure will remain in place until 9 October 2026 or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner.
