(U23406 Headley Heath Lane, Headley Heath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U23406 Headley Heath Ln from its junction with U23408 Bell Green Ln for a distance of 185 metres in a north westerly direction.

Reason: Drainage work for flood alleviation by WCC.

Alternative route: U23408 Bell Green Ln, C2170 Icknield St, U23407 Headley Heath Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 29 September 2025.

(U31200 Birmingham Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U31200 Birmingham Rd from its junction with B4184 Windsor Rd for a distance of 150 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: No diversion possible as it is a Cul de Sac.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 24 September 2025.

(U23410 Gorsey Lane, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U23410 Gorsey Ln from its junction with U23414 Meadow Rd to its junction with C2180 Alcester Rd.

Reason: Remedial water works by STW.

Alternative route: C2180 Alcester Rd, C2036 Houndsfield Ln, C2041 Lea Green Ln, C2041 Station Rd, U23410 Gorsey Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 29 September 2025.

(C2040 Tanners Green Lane, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2040 Tanners Green Ln from its junction with A435 Alcester Rd to its junction with U23412 Barkers Ln.

Reason: Replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: Diversion Anticlockwise – C2040 Tanners Green Ln (part), A435 Alcester Rd, U23412 Barkers Ln. C2040 Tanners Green Ln (part). Diversion Clockwise – C2040 Tanners Green Ln (part), U23412 Barkers Ln, A435 Alcester Rd (Southbound), A435 Portway Island, A435 Alcester Rd (Northbound), A435 Becketts Roundabout, A435 Alcester Rd (Southbound), C2040 Tanners Green Ln (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 24 September 2025.

(C2123 Alders Drive, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2123 Alders Dr from its junction with U32400 Costers Ln to its junction with C2242 Far Moor Ln.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Power On.

Alternative route: C2242 Far Moor Ln, A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout, C2123 Alders Dr (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 September 2025.

(U31037 Britten Street, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) and The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 (Temporary Part Suspension) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U31037 Britten St from its junction with U31036 Bridge St to its junction with U31000 Bromsgrove Rd and to temporarily (part) suspend The Urban District of Redditch (Edward Street/Britten Street) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 to allow two-way traffic on U31037 Britten St to enable access for residents and businesses during the works.

Reason: Utility work by BT.

Alternative route: U31036 Bridge St, U31035 Elm Rd, U31031 Cedar Rd, U31028 Hewell Rd, U31000 Bromsgrove Rd.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 15 October 2025 and 17 October 2025.

(A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout Over Coventry/A441 Alvechurch Highway/A4023 Coventry Highway Eastbound Exit Slip Road to A441 Alvechurch Highway/A4023 Coventry Highway Westbound Slip Road to A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – The whole of A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout Over Coventry from its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway to its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway. Closure 2 – A441 Alvechurch Highway from its junction with A441 Riverside Roundabout to its junction with C2101 Alvechurch Highway Southbound Slip Rd to A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout. Closure 3 – A4023 Coventry Highway Eastbound Exit Slip Road to A441 Alvechurch Highway from its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway Roundabout with B4160 Redditch Highway to its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout Over Coventry. Closure 4 – A4023 Coventry Highway Westbound Slip Road to A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout Over Coventry from its junction with A4023 Coventry Highway to its junction with A441 Alvechurch Highway Roundabout Over Coventry.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: Diversion 1 – A441 Alvechurch Highway (part), A448 Warwick Highway, A4189 Warwick Highway into Warwickshire, A435 Alcester Rd, A435 Hollywood Bypass into Birmingham, A441 Birmingham Rd, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A441 Birmingham Rd and vice versa. Diversion 2 – A4023 Coventry Highway Westbound, B4497 Battens Dr, A4023 Coventry Highway (Westbound), B4160 Redditch Ringway and vice versa. Diversion 3 – A4023 Coventry Highway (Eastbound) into Warwickshire, A4189 Warwick Highway, A448 Warwick Highway, A448 Alcester Highway, A441 Alvechurch Highway (part) and vice versa. Diversion 4 – A441 Birmingham Rd, A441 Alvechurch Highway (part) and vice versa. Diversion 5 – A441 Birmingham Rd, A441 Alvechurch Bypass, A435 Alcester Rd into Warwickshire, A4023 Coventry Highway and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 nights (20:00-06:00) between 15 October 2025 and 28 October 2025.

(U43402 Church Lane/U43402 Cladswell Lane/U43402 Dogbut Lane, Cookhill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – U43402 Church Lane from its junction with A441 Evesham Rd to its junction with U43402 Cladswell Ln. Closure 2 – U43402 Cladswell Lane from its junction with U43402 Church Ln to its junction with U43407 Wood Ln. Closure 3 – U43402 Dogbut Lane from its junction with U43407 Wood Ln to its junction with B4092 Mile Post Ln to Edgiock Crossroads.

Reason: Drainage patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: B4092 Mile Post Ln to Edgiock Crossroads, B4090 Salt Way, A441 The Ridgeway, U43402 Church Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days between 20 October 2025 and 2 November 2025.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath RD-652, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close Footpath RD-652, Redditch for its entire length.

The Order has been made to facilitate path repair & resurfacing.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Footpath F30270, F30269, U30416 Middlepiece Drive, C2137 Lower Common Lane, U30413 Birchfield Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 29 September 2025.
