Temporary Closure of Terrell Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Terrell Lane - from the junction with Whitnell Lane, for its entirety. A total distance of 232 metres. This Order will enable Kiely Bros to carry out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways. Solid diamond symbolization will be used on the diversion route and will not clash with any other Kiely Bros works within the area.

The Order becomes effective on 7th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th October 2025 and last until 21st October 2025 between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00 for a total of 6 days.

b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
