Temporary Closure of High Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along High Lane - from the junction with Church Road to the junction with Main Road. A total distance of 969 metres. This Order will enable National Grid to carry out pole changing works.

The Order becomes effective on 7th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 24th October 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 12 days.
