What is happening?
CHORLEY NEW ROAD TEMPORARY ONE-WAY
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S.14
The Council Intends to make an order, operative from 11-12 October and 18-19 October 2025, the effect of which will be to implement a one-way restriction on Chorley New Road from Beaumont Rd to Tudor Ave (permitted direction westbound) to allow resurfacing works to take place. Alternative route is via Victoria Rd Moss Bank Way Chorley Old Rd and/or Beaumont Rd, Wigan Rd, Mayor St, Park Rd. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
