Temporary Closure of Coast Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Coast Road - from the junction with Flowers Bloom Close to the junction with Hurn Lane. A total distance of 536 metres. This Order will enable Network Plus and R A Stacey to carry out reconductoring and pole change works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 7th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 13th October 2025 and last until 17th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
